They explored important topics like fire safety, first aid, online safety, and how to look after their physical and mental wellbeing. One of the highlights was learning how to perform CPR and experiencing a fire simulation escape — such valuable knowledge!

Year 6 had an exciting first Computing lesson using the Delightex 'Playground' to design their own 3D virtual environments! Pupils experimented with the software to learn how to add, resize, rotate and animate characters and objects, as well as transform the background with filters and weather effects.

Last week at St Peter and St Paul CE Primary, our Collective Worships were filled with joy, reflection, and celebration.

Yesterday, our Reception children enjoyed a wonderful afternoon exploring The Pennings! They spotted a variety of minibeasts, explored interesting plants and flowers, and got creative building bug hotels in the woodland area.

This half term, Year 2 have been exploring the bold and colourful world of Yayoi Kusama, a famous Japanese artist known for her love of dots and pumpkins! The children have been inspired by her unique style and have produced some brilliant artwork of their own.

It’s been a joy to see our children enjoying their time in the school library this week! Here are Year 1 and Year 5 during their sessions, fully engaged in browsing, reading, and borrowing books from our wonderful collection.

Nursery’s Green-Fingered Gardeners!

The Nursery children have been busy little gardeners this week, planting and watering beautiful bedding plants kindly donated by a generous parent—thank you so much!

Further to the announcement by the Prime Minister the Trust is writing with more information about how this will affect our individual schools and the provision we will be making. 

Further to our letter setting out the arrangements for pupils at ASST schools, I am writing with further information. 

Following the Prime Minister’s Press Conference yesterday we are issuing the following updated advice: 

In light of the current situation, we have decided to cancel the live performance of The Wizard of Oz; however, we will carry on with the show in a different capacity:

Firstly, we immediately put into place a very strict handwashing regime. All schools purchased additional handwashing products and sanitisers. We are following Governmental advice and children are washing their hands regularly. Can we please praise our children as they have all been following routines and their behaviour has been excellent. 

​We recognise that many of you are worried about COVID-19 (Coronavirus). We fully appreciate your concerns and will continue to assess the public health risk to our community and will take all reasonable precautions to ensure the safety of our staff and pupils. I can reassure you that the Trust and Schools are in constant contact with the Government on this issue and are taking advice as necessary.
